Background summary
For a good clinical-decision-making and also a precise operation procedure the TL as a landmark is needed and therefore it is essential to distinguish the anatomical type of the TL with a reliable ultrasound protocol.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is twofold:
1. To develop a protocol to identify the variations of Lister’s tubercle with High Resolution ultrasound (HRUS), based on the morphological classification by Chan,
2. Test its interrater reliability
Study objective
The HRUS protocol to distinguish the anatomical type of Lister's tubercle is valid protocol and has a good inter-rater reliability
Study design
Validation in the anatomy Lab at the VUB Brussels; Inter-rater reliability in two Physiotherapy Centers (Nieuwegein and Heel)
Intervention
Musculoskeletal Diagnostic High Resolution Ultrasound
